The celebration of the Valley of the Fireland's annual kick-off social Rite On took place on March 1 at Ole Zim's Wagon in Gobsonburg, Ohio. Numerous awards were handed out and the Masons and their ladies enjoyes an informative illustrated lecture on John Phillips Sousa.

On Sunday, February 22, Collin Miller and Howard Shirling were welcomed into the Scottish Rite in the Valley of the Firelands after receiving the 4th Degree at the Bucyrus Lodge. The capping ceremony was followed by a presentation of the 28th Degree, Knight of the Sun.
